Coeliac Awareness Week 13-20 March 2015

12/03/2015 By Kate Crocker Leave a Comment

Well, it’s that time of year again – Coeliac Awareness Week.

That’s right, folks. The week in which we raise awareness about Coeliac Disease however which way we can. Here’s the message – know the symptoms and see your doctor if you’re worried. Diagnosis is the first step to healing.

For more information about Coeliac Disease, visit the Coeliac Australia website.

And if you want to know the difference that diagnosis can make to a child, have a look at this post which I wrote for Coeliac Australia’s Sick & Tired campaign last year. It’s the story of my daughter and the massive difference that diagnosis made to her and to the rest of our family.

Enjoy the week’s festivities. Social media will be abuzz!

I acknowledge the Kaurna people and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the nation’s first inhabitants and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn, and work. I recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
