I gave up on gluten-free wraps some time ago. They either broke as soon as I tried to fold them, or their taste was so odd that I couldn’t convince my kids to eat them (and who’d blame them?).
Then I tried BFree wheat and gluten-free multigrain wraps. I took the picture above so that you can see how easily the wraps bend into shape, without a sign of cracking or crumbling. They taste as wraps should – a very mild slightly savoury taste that doesn’t overpower the fillings. When I sent them to school, lunchboxes came home empty. Enough said? I also put a wrap in a frypan with a little oil and browned both sides on medium high. It was absolutely delicious to eat and I could imagine enjoying it with a platter of Greek dips. That’s right – use it as a gluten-free alternative to pitta bread and enjoy dips, souvlaki and yiros, just like you did before you went gluten-free.
The wraps are free from gluten, wheat, dairy, egg and soy and are made from a variety of flours to boost fibre.
BFree is an Irish product and has just launched in the Australian market, available at selected Woolworths stores.
My package of BFree wraps was provided to me by agents of BFree Foods Ltd. The opinions in this post are my own.
Kate, thank you for this. Yes, all other wraps fall apart and so I just get up half an hour earlier each morning to make wraps from scratch ( I use Laucke Bread Mix and recipe).
I haven’t seen this product up here in the tropics, but I will do some searching.
Thanks Joanne. Hope you find it!
These Gf wraps look really good. I tried them from schär but they are not good,..they crack! Thanks for the review!
Hope you can find them – my local supermarket doesn’t have them, unfortunately…
I don’t know either,…Good Gf products here in Belgium, are not all that good & difficult too find too! ,…:(
Thank you so for this review. They look amazing. The entire product line looks pretty amazing. Hoping for a US invasion soon. 🙂
Here’s hoping! Great to have you on board!
Thank you for this! I too had just given up on ever finding a decent wrap… Will look out for this.

Wow! I didn’t ever expect this sort of product to be available for gfree people. Bliss on a stick.
Kate, I agree with you – they have a good texture that wraps easily, not dry and brittle, and are pleasant to chew! I came across them a few weeks ago somewhere in Adelaide (but still trying to remember where, as my local supermarkets don’t stock them….)
Brought these wraps last week and totally worth it, they don’t fall apart when you wrap it and they taste amazing, now I can look forward to lunch. Awesome product ?
We had them last night for dinner as as a salad wrap with falafels….they are the best gf wraps I have had AND egg free! I hope they bring out a bread line.
