Promotion: Gluten-free for kids at The Langham, Sydney

High tea at The Langham Hotel, Sydney
High tea at The Langham Hotel, Sydney

Isn’t it absolute gold when you find a special place that will serve up gluten-free delights as a special kiddy treat? And isn’t it even better when you know that there won’t be some glaring error that results in cross-contamination, or worse?

Well, if you’re in Sydney, you might want to give The Langham Hotel a try. It’s known for its fine tiffin afternoon teas (pictured above), but perhaps not so well-known is that it will cater for gluten-free and other food needs, such as nut allergies and lactose intolerance. And I have it on good authority that the kitchen staff have done their homework when it comes to cross-contamination and achieving great results in gluten-free baking.

But wait, there’s more!

Until 25 January, they’re serving up a kids’ morning tea to celebrate the movie Frozen. There’s a snow-themed Children’s Tiffin Tea and all children receive their own book of Frozen with a story-teller at the ready. When you call to book, be sure to order a gluten-free morning tea for your child. Check out the great snow-themed spread:

Click here for the Frozen tiffin menu, and here for the afternoon tiffin menu. The afternoon tiffin can be made gluten-free all year round. What a great treat (but the bubbly is for the grown-ups, not the kids)!

You can also check out The Langham Hotel on Instagram:  @langhamsydney  #thelanghamsydney  #tiffinatthelangham

So scrub up, frock up, pinkies up and rock up for gluten-free fabulous at The Langham Sydney!

I’ve been to a tiffin afternoon tea at The Langham – superb (and notably, we didn’t need dinner that night!).

Tea and a couple of those macarons would be absoutely gorgeous on a cool afternoon.
