Fig fest @ the Hungry Australian

17/02/2013 By Kate Crocker 1 Comment

figs

If you’ve read my previous post, you’ll know that fig season is in full swing at my house. The other day, I invited Christina, founder and author of the Hungry Australian food and travel blog, to come and pick some figs. Christina’s blog was founded in mid 2011 and has gone from strength to strength. Christina is now a highly regarded food blogger in Australia.

So it was an honour and a delight that our fig picking became the subject of one of Christina’s latest posts. If you have a moment, head over to the Hungry Australian and have a look. Christina is a wonderful writer and her photography is simply stunning. Her pictures of the figs are beautiful. While you’re there you may want to check out her other posts. My favourites are the posts from her recent trip to Dubai, especially the photographs of the spice markets.
