Merry Christmas to you! I hope you have a wonderful festive season, and thankyou so much for being a part of my blog.
In Australia, it is summer and the days are becoming much warmer. A typical Christmas here usually consists of a long, lazy lunch and a swim in a pool, if we’re lucky enough to have one for the day. Seafood is popular Christmas fare, as are cherries, berries, and mangoes. We also enjoy more traditional Christmas food such as turkey, ham and steamed pudding, especially to keep older generations happy!
Choosing a gluten-free menu at Christmas time is much easier than it may sound, as so much of our meal will be whole food – meat, fruit, vegetables. There’s usually plenty for my Little Coeliac.
As much of January is a holiday period in Australia, I will be taking a break for most of the month, and will be back on the air in early February.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you. In Australia, we really do dream of a white Christmas!
